A few Terms:  (research the internet for detailed info)

  • Acupressure--Acupressure (a blend of "acupuncture" and "pressure") is a traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) technique derived from acupuncture. In acupressure physical pressure is applied to acupuncture points by the hand, elbow, or with various devices.
  • Amrita--Sanskirt word meaning nectar of immortality" or "nectar of the Goddess".  This fluid is different from urine and similar to the prostate fluid of men.  In Tantra, Amrita, is considered to be a powerully healing substance.  Also called Soma is a pungent liquid secreted by the glandular system and is released during yoni massage or other high states of pleasure.
  • Ananda--divine bliss, joy, spiritual ecstasy

  • Ch"i--or Qi is a form of energy that waxes and wanes in the body depending on health, and in a space depending on arrangement.
  • Dakini--A dakini (Sanskrit: "sky dancer") is a Tantric priestess of ancient India who "carried the souls of the dead to the sky". This Buddhist figure is particularly upheld in Tibetan Buddhism. The dakini is a female being of generally volatile temperament, who acts as a muse for spiritual practice. Dakinis can be likened to elves, angels, or other such supernatural beings, and are symbolically representative of testing one's awareness and adherence to Buddhist tantric sadhana.
  • Draping--strategically placed sheet or towel that cover what needs covering if you are feeling shy 
  • Feng Shui--(pronounced Foong Sway) is the chinese art of placement.  Feng means wind and Shui means water.
  • 4 Phases of the "O" cycle--arousal, plateau, conclusion, resolution

  • Milking the prostate--The prostate is a gland in the male reproductive system.  It is not found in women.  Prostate milking is also referred to as Prostate massage.  Massaging the prostate is done in order to secrete semen.
  • Namaste--The gesture Namaste represents the belief that there is a Divine spark within each of us that is located in the heart chakra. The gesture is an acknowledgment of the soul in one by the soul in another. "Nama" means bow, "as" means I, and "te" means you. Therefore, Namaste literally means "bow me you" or "I bow to you."  To perform Namaste, we place the hands together at the heart charka, close the eyes, and bow the head. It can also be done by placing the hands together in front of the third eye, bowing the head, and then bringing the hands down to the heart. This is an especially deep form of respect. Although in the West the word "Namaste" is usually spoken in conjunction with the gesture, in India, it is understood that the gesture itself signifies Namaste, and therefore, it is unnecessary to say the word while bowing.
  • Om--Om is a sacred symbol and an ancient mantra or chant representing the infinite Brahma, the absolute or all, which conveys omniscience (all-encompassing knowledge), omnipresence (always present everywhere) and omnipotence (all-powerfulness). It is believed to be the basic sound of the universe, the cosmic vibration and contains all other sounds. When repeated correctly it penetrates all and creates harmony and unity with all that exists - with mind, body and spirit and that to all others.
  • PC Muscles--The pubococcygeus muscle or PC muscle is a hammock-like muscle, found in both sexes, that stretches from the pubic bone to the coccyx (tail bone) forming the floor of the pelvic cavity and supporting the pelvic organs.

If one's "life force energy" is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy. The word Reiki is made of two Japanese words - Rei which means "God's Wisdom or the Higher Power" and Ki which is "life force energy". So Reiki is actually "spiritually guided life force energy."
  • Sacred Spot-- The G-spot or Sacred Spot of a man is his prostate gland.  The walnut size prostate gland is located directly underneath the bladder, not far from the internal root of the penis.

  • Shiva & Shakti--The Supreme Tantric deities are known as Shiva & Shakti.  When Shiva, the masculine principle, and his beloved consort, Shakti, the feminine principle, are joined together in sexual union, they are in a static and blissful state of Cosmic Consciousness.  At this point, there is no division between the God and Goddess, and all sexual duality is dissolved.  But when Shakti separates herself from her Lord Shiva, she begins to create the universe.  Shakti energy is the Primal force of Nature.  **Every man is the embodiment of Shiva and every woman is the manisfestation of Shakti.
  • Soul Gazing--Tantric technique used to open deeper intimacy based on gazing into each others eyes to see the soul beyond the personality.
  • Tantrika--a practitioner of Tantra
  • Yin & Yang--(chinese philosophy) the two fundamental principles, one negative, dark,  passive, cold, wet, and feminine (yin) and the other (yang) positive, bright, active, dry, hot and masculine.   The interactions and balance of these forces in people and nature influences their behavior and fate
  • Yoni & Yoni Massage--Yoni is the Sanskrit word for the vagina. It literally means "Divine Passage" or "Sacred Temple." Yoni massage is the ritual of honoring and healing this part of the body. In this ritual, you touch the yoni not from a place of creating arousal and orgasm, but from and intention to be in joy and wonder of this beautiful part of the body.
